Local Engagement in Social and Emotional Learning and Soft Skills Measurement Compendium
To better understand the diversity of practices around the development and adaptation of Social and Emotional Learning and Soft Skills (SEL/SS) measurement tools, the SEL/SS Measurement Taskforce set out to gather information from those engaging in this work globally, including in both development and humanitarian contexts. The Local Engagement in Social and Emotional Learning and Soft Skills Measurement Compendium presents 20 unique cases of projects, programs, or initiatives that strive to promote locally led processes for adapting existing tools or developing new tools that prioritize and reflect local contexts. The cases and accompanying synthesis offer an opportunity for those working on SEL/SS measurement to reflect on ongoing work and identify strategies to continue strengthening efforts to both increase local engagement and improve the validity of measurement.
