Project Description:
Between 2006-2011, the Tucheze Tujifunze preschool interactive radio instruction (IRI) series provided curricula-based lessons for nonformal facilitators to lead with children in their community-based preschool centers (and modeled ECD teaching for facilitators). The Tuhcheze Tujifunze grades 1 and 2 programs provided curricula-based lessons that integrated literacy (kiSwahili and English), numeracy, and lifeskills to complement classroom instruction.
