Energy Policy and Development Program (EPDP)
This activity aims to strengthen the capacity of the Philippine government to formulate evidence-based policies and strategies for sustainable, reliable and efficient use of energy resources. It assists the national government, particularly the National Economic and Development Authority and the Department of Energy, in policy analysis for the energy sector. Funds are also used to build the institutional capacity of the Energy Economics program within University of the Philippines' School of Economics by providing training on research tools, conducting public events and supporting student research. In addition, the activity will support research, policy development and advising, and capacity development regarding many aspects of clean energy development in the Philippines, while disseminating results to the government and the public.
