CIES 2019 Pre-Conference Workshop: Understanding Education in Complex and High Risk Situations

Education in Crisis and Conflict Network (ECCN) presented the pre-conference workshop: Using the Rapid Education and Risk Analysis (RERA) Toolkit and Safer Learning Environments Assessment (SLE) Toolkit in Crisis and Conflict Contexts. ECCN Senior Advisor Jim Rogan and ECCN Research Manager Gwen Heaner along with other interested researchers and practitioners discussed how these two situation analysis and assessment tools can be of critical importance to understanding crisis and conflict-affected contexts and improving education policies and programs.
